\"meri-photo\"<\/a>Meri Tepper is a Wisconin Registered Architect. She worked with\u00a0the NYC office of Ryall Porter Sheridan Architects from 2004-2014.\u00a0 Today, Meri works with homeowners on a variety of project types. She also serves as the Director of Design for the Design\/Build\u00a0 firm Associated Housewrights.\u00a0Her practice is located in Madison, Wisconsin.<\/p>\n

Meri is an equally talented creative and technical architect.\u00a0 Trained by the International Passive House Association, Meri’s designs embrace current building science and energy efficient construction techniques.<\/p>\n

Meri studied at the University of Virginia.\u00a0 She\u00a0 received her Master of Architecture Degree in 2004 and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture in 2001.<\/p>\n

Meri\u2019s career began with 18 months in Europe working for the Danish Institute for Study Abroad.\u00a0\u00a0She planned and guided\u00a0architectural study tours throughout Scandinavia, Germany, Switzerland and France. During this time she\u00a0developed an academic\u00a0interest in residential design,energy efficient building construction, and the\u00a0modern Scandinavian style.<\/p>\n

Meri’s\u00a0master\u2019s thesis, titled\u00a0Sited in the Setback<\/i>, proposed doubling the density of first ring suburbs like Levittown NY with accessory dwelling units.\u00a0\u00a0Her thesis work received multiple awards and is still relevant to the current housing crisis and ADU policy.<\/p>\n

Meri is committed to leadership development and mentoring the next generation of designers. But more than anything she enjoys helping homeowners love their houses.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
